Well, this is creepy!
I’m down in FL for a vaca/work trip and while feeding birds at Discovery Cove, I ran across this man who looked just like Vincent van Gogh. “Vincent” was with his two kids and wife, teaching them how to feed the birds. No, he wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary, but what struck me were what I call “heebie-jeebies” when I saw him.
The reason I’m posting this is because of the strong negative vibes I immediately felt when I saw the man’s face. There was nothing out of the ordinary, he just looked like Van Gogh. As humans we seem to automatically judge or appraise someone by their appearance. While what we see may not seem out of the ordinary, as mammals we also need to “judge” by how we feel.
I often speak about trusting one’s vibes over all other sensory means. Whether we recognize it or not, we’ve been using our clairsentience (clear psychic sensing) since our conception! We know what feels right, what feels terrible, and every sensory impression in-between. Whether you’re more in-tune with seeing or hearing the spirit impressions around you, I can guarantee you that you determine their authenticity or validity as well as their impact upon you through the use of your innate clairsentient spiritual gifts.
I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. How many times have you decided you didn’t like someone, but you didn’t know why? Was it a hunch, did you feel oddly uncomfortable, or did they just rub you the wrong way? Regardless of the reason you didn’t mesh with another person you have to listen to that still, small vibe. It’s NEVER wrong.
So, what was is about “Vincent” that I didn’t like? His appearance, as I mentioned, seemed to just be a coincidence. It was his energy, a feeling of the need to be cautious around this person, and a hefty sense of dread for his family or anyone else that may cross his path.
Just to test my theory, or quite possibly because I wanted to validate what I was feeling, I, once again, stepped into Vincent’s proximity. An immediate shiver and sense of dread overcame me, so backing away I pretended to be enthralled with the beautiful flora and winged creatures around me and changed direction.
Not everyone or everything is going to jive with your energy, and that’s something that makes us all unique. Celebrate your uniqueness, give thanks for the loving people who share your life, and ever-so grateful for the opportunity to leave negativity behind, whether it’s a person, place or thing.
