Are You Moving Forward?

Quite often we go about our daily lives, doing the same old thing in the same old manner. Even when we know that we’re going to get what we’ve always gotten, we can’t seem to pull ourselves out of our rut. In times like this you are stagnating. Like a cesspool of waste water, you are growing – but not good things! Anything dark and dank, kept around long enough, will begin to germinate nasty stuff.I recently overheard someone say that they could find the bad in just about every situation. If we chose to do so, couldn’t we all? We’ll always find what we’re looking for, so do we opt for negativity or positivity? And yes, the choice IS yours. In every situation there are equal and opposite sides. Without the negative you can’t have the positive. Without darkness you will not find the light. Large – small, black – white, Up – down… In all things, there are opposing forces. This is the balance of God, created so that we could choose, for ourselves, the way we wanted to progress – or stagnate.  

Free will: In all things, in all levels of physical and spiritual realms, there are choices. And the decisions we make determine our lives – here and hereafter. You were given free will by God. No one, not even God “himself” will alter this fact. So, when you choose to see life as an open book, instead of a closed one, you are choosing optimism. Once you put the optimism into view – and continue choosing optimism, you will see what you desire. Your desire will push you to movement toward your goals, which means that you are not standing in the nasty cesspool, growing negativity.
