I’ve seen a shift within the past few years. The “win-at-any-cost” mentality, which has prevailed for over the last twenty years, is changing. Thank goodness! Most of my clients are now seeking a simpler way of life, a deeper connection within themselves and within their family unit. More and more people are opting for a quiet, enjoyable evening at home with family than a night on the town. Some, I’m glad to hear, are taking self-awareness or enrichment classes. Many have begun meditating or praying. Certainly, our economic status may be one of the causes bringing about these changes, but I’m seeing that many people, even those holding stable jobs, are searching for that deeper personal connection that can only be found when one questions his role in the great scheme of things.

The bible says, “Seek and ye shall find.” Well, I’ve been seeking for a while, and until today, had been unable to find what I was searching for.
I think what’s most frustrating is the fact that what we might be looking for is often right under our noses! This certainly was the problem in my case. Often the obvious is the last thing we believe our answer to be. It can’t be that easy! It has to be harder or it won’t be worth a hill of beans!

It’s official… My house is inhabited!
My grandson kept pulling at his mother (my daughter) to “come here”. Since there was no one else in the house she thought he only wanted to play. His persistence paid off and my daughter followed him to my reading room (the door was closed). “Come here,” he said again. My daughter, Emily, opened the door and found the old rocking chair rocking all by itself! Emily said that although the chair wasn’t rocking hard, it was nonetheless rocking back and forth enough for it to creep her out.
“What do you do for a living?” I often get questioned. Yes, people may use this question as a conversation starter, but when you come out of the closet and admit you’re a psychic medium, they often turn their backs. Many close friends have said, “Oh really?” And then rolled their eyes when I’ve told them what I do. For many years I hid this fact from others fearing their judgment or ridicule. Then, one day, I felt as though my conviction was strong enough to withstand the onslaught of questions and judgmental attitudes. I was no longer willing to turn my back on my truth. I came out of the closet.
People can be, do, experience, and rally for just about anything their heart desires. On the whole, the human race is becoming numb to acts of violence unless they hit home. One can change their appearance inside, and out, to reflect who they feel they truly are. Not to dismiss the fact that same-sex marriages are now legal in a few states. Wow, we’ve come a long way!
