I’ve spent the past week in Lily Dale Assembly in New York participating in classes, getting my learning on, teaching a class and holding a book signing. Whew, I have to tell you, it’s been a whirlwind of activity with my two amazing sisters (It’s sister’s week!).
I think the best part of my educational sojourns are meeting wonderfully learned and very entertaining people. Even those who I’ve known for years have come through this week with extremely insightful information, proving that there’s always something to learn. Of course, while we can learn from anyone’s experience and knowledge, we must give credit to those who attempt to, or have previously perfected, their art or craft.
This week was abundant in creativity (I learned to play the Native American flute.), inspired with insight on the Angelic realms, confirmed that I’m lousy at finding lost items, but truly blessed with the love of cherished friends and my dearly loved sisters by my side. I also taught a class on a long-loved topic, meeting some very gifted and loving students along the way. The book signing was wonderful! It provided me with the opportunity to meet simply lovely people… and I realize how miraculously God works, and what a gift I’ve been given in this lifetime.
If we look, we can see God’s hand in our lives, we can see the little miracles. People coming together for a greater good, those who enter our lives just as we need them, and how our interaction with others can potentially change the lives of others for the better. Isn’t that what we’re here for, after all? So, while you’re getting your learning on, whether in a classroom, workroom, or office, please take a moment to appreciate all whom you encounter and the miraculous addition you are to the whole.
