I’ve recently discussed with a few people, their unhappiness with their current working situations. Seemingly unable, or unwilling, to make a work move they stay in a less than desirable situation. They realize that their work is making them unhappy, not only while at work, but is also in their home life. When one aspect of our lives is out of kilter, it affects its entirety. Imagine your life as if it were a ball – a perfect sphere. Your entire life forms the ball into its perfect shape. When one side of life is not working to your advantage, it’s as if the ball has a flattened side. Your ball wobbles to and fro, but when it encounters the flat side, it will stand still, unable to roll. The one flattened side affects the entire ball, halting the natural roll. The Ones We Love

We each perceive love in our own way. Your perception of love would be determined by your past experiences. If you were raised by particularly difficult parents, your perception would be totally different than that of someone raised in a family with two loving, caring and devoted parents.
Did your parents openly show or express their love for each other and you? Most often, the love we’re shown is the love that we will then show to others.
Everything Happens for a Reason
It’s often when we are faced with a challenging situation that we ask God, “Why?” Why did this happen? How could God have allowed this? Why me?
Why not you? God hasn’t put these situations or obstacles in your way to harm you – YOU DID. If you look at all the incidents in your life that have left an impact upon you as tools that shaped you into who you are today, you might be more accepting of the burdens you have faced or are now facing. You chose those incidents prior to birth, so that you could grow through the challenges.
Of course it’s always the troublesome issues that we complain about because they alter our lives as we know it. If it gets in our way, causes us to change, or delays our progress then we deem it unsatisfactory or bad. Think of the past issues you’ve had to deal with and/or overcome. Have you not been better for it? If nothing else, your mettle was tested and I’m sure that you passed. But, if you didn’t, you can be certain that a similar situation will present itself so you can try, try again.
Everything happens for a reason – there are no mistakes. You came here, to Earth, at this exact time, to grow spiritually. So, although you never relish the hard times, hopefully you’ll look at them as a time of learning. Get the job done right the first time – don’t avoid the situation. You don’t want to be faced with the same type of problem in the future.

Happy New You
This is the first day of the rest of your life! Do you realize what that means?
The opportunities are endless, it’s an all-encompassing do-over!
How great would that be? Can you think of the things you’d like to change about yourself, the events of the past that you’d like to erase, the deeds that you would like to undo, negative words you’d like to take back?
It may sound surprising, but you’re no different than anyone else who reads this blog. Everyone, yes everyone, has experienced a period(s) in their life that they wish could be reversed. Whether you’re rich or poor, educated or illiterate, spiritual or atheist, we all have had issues we’ve had to deal with – things that we’re not proud of. But, today is the first day of the rest of your life!
You can begin, today, by forgiving yourself for past transgressions. Then, if apologies are in order, take care of them – NOW. Bite the bullet and finally put the past in the past. Your next step is to improve upon past lessons learned, realizing that they created who you are today.
So, begin anew – no matter when you happen to read this blog. It’s the first day of the rest of your life!

The Land of Plenty
There’s always more. There’s enough for everyone. We live in the land of plenty.
In the profession of mediumship/psychism, I’ve seen, all too often, greed. One would think that people, who are supposed to live what they are preaching and would know better than to act out of greed. Referring a client to someone who is more learned will bring to you those who are seeking your skills and/or services. Apparently, even the “professionals” are having difficulty following the Universal Laws of Attraction and Abundance.
Both of these Laws state, in very similar ways, that what you give out will return. (Luke 6:38) “Practice giving, and people will give to you. They will pour into your laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing. For with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you in return.”
You may not be a medium or psychic, but you certainly can learn from another’s mistake. It’s quite difficult, at times, to realize that we may be judging someone as we admonish others to avoid doing the same. We may promote giving of yourself to charity work, but refuse to drop a dime in the bucket of the Salvation Army bell ringers’. If you’re presented with an opportunity to be of service, in any way, don’t hesitate. The gift you’re giving may just be at the request of The Almighty.
