I’ve recently discussed with a few people, their unhappiness with their current working situations. Seemingly unable, or unwilling, to make a work move they stay in a less than desirable situation. They realize that their work is making them unhappy, not only while at work, but is also in their home life. When one aspect of our lives is out of kilter, it affects its entirety. Imagine your life as if it were a ball – a perfect sphere. Your entire life forms the ball into its perfect shape. When one side of life is not working to your advantage, it’s as if the ball has a flattened side. Your ball wobbles to and fro, but when it encounters the flat side, it will stand still, unable to roll. The one flattened side affects the entire ball, halting the natural roll. Everything Happens for a Reason
It’s often when we are faced with a challenging situation that we ask God, “Why?” Why did this happen? How could God have allowed this? Why me?
Why not you? God hasn’t put these situations or obstacles in your way to harm you – YOU DID. If you look at all the incidents in your life that have left an impact upon you as tools that shaped you into who you are today, you might be more accepting of the burdens you have faced or are now facing. You chose those incidents prior to birth, so that you could grow through the challenges.
Of course it’s always the troublesome issues that we complain about because they alter our lives as we know it. If it gets in our way, causes us to change, or delays our progress then we deem it unsatisfactory or bad. Think of the past issues you’ve had to deal with and/or overcome. Have you not been better for it? If nothing else, your mettle was tested and I’m sure that you passed. But, if you didn’t, you can be certain that a similar situation will present itself so you can try, try again.
Everything happens for a reason – there are no mistakes. You came here, to Earth, at this exact time, to grow spiritually. So, although you never relish the hard times, hopefully you’ll look at them as a time of learning. Get the job done right the first time – don’t avoid the situation. You don’t want to be faced with the same type of problem in the future.

Happy New You
This is the first day of the rest of your life! Do you realize what that means?
The opportunities are endless, it’s an all-encompassing do-over!
How great would that be? Can you think of the things you’d like to change about yourself, the events of the past that you’d like to erase, the deeds that you would like to undo, negative words you’d like to take back?
It may sound surprising, but you’re no different than anyone else who reads this blog. Everyone, yes everyone, has experienced a period(s) in their life that they wish could be reversed. Whether you’re rich or poor, educated or illiterate, spiritual or atheist, we all have had issues we’ve had to deal with – things that we’re not proud of. But, today is the first day of the rest of your life!
You can begin, today, by forgiving yourself for past transgressions. Then, if apologies are in order, take care of them – NOW. Bite the bullet and finally put the past in the past. Your next step is to improve upon past lessons learned, realizing that they created who you are today.
So, begin anew – no matter when you happen to read this blog. It’s the first day of the rest of your life!

Earth-Bound or Crossed Over?
I just finished watching The Ghost Whisperer. The show is about a young woman
who can see, hear, and interact with spirits that have not yet crossed over into the light. Yes, you may find this eerie, hogwash, or even intriguing. Whatever your take on this, I can tell you that the show is pretty well written. The writers definitely have advisers who have done their homework, which is seen in the manner the lead character, played by Jennifer Love-Hewitt, interacts with the deceased.
Personally, I believe that communication with those on the other side is factual. Too many times undeniable proof has come through that a certain loved one is in attendance. Too many unknown facts are revealed, without prior knowledge. Where would this information come from if not from the deceased themselves?
I know this might sound far-fetched. I, myself, doubted at times – but never for long. I suppose that if you’re exposed to something long enough, and there are endless incidents of proof, you become a believer.
Back to the show… Apparently Melinda, Love-Hewitt’s character, can only communicate with spirit if they have not crossed over into the light. The spiritual beings she interacts with are Earth-bound, or stuck to the Earth for one reason or another. These beings are in turmoil, there’s no doubt about it. There are hundreds of reasons for a spirit to remain Earth-bound, but the main reasons, which I’ve encountered, are a constant need for an addictive substance, severe emotional trouble, extreme (obsessive) concern for a loved one, or they may not realize that their physical bodies have died.
From experience, I know that most newly deceased remain close to the Earth until their physical bodies have been laid to rest. This does not mean that they are Earth-bound though. Becoming more etheric daily, they cross over into the light of their own accord, glad to return to their home, eager to experience the next leg of their journey. After crossing over, these spiritual beings can also communicate, of course, and often do return to visit or relay messages.
I have experienced enough of this phenomenon, both pre and post crossing over, to know that communication with spirit can be proven. Come visit – experience for yourself.

Dust Bunnies
I spent the last two days with my grandson, who is almost 11 months old. What a fun, enlightening, and exhausting two days they were too!
I’m luck to have the ability to take time off work when needed so that I can spend time with my grandson. I wouldn’t miss this for the world. It’s such a joy being able to romp around on the floor discovering things that the average adult would overlook. For instance, when is the last time you crawled under a kitchen table and pretended that it was your fort? When was the last time you tasted a dust bunny?
