“What do you do for a living?” I often get questioned. Yes, people may use this question as a conversation starter, but when you come out of the closet and admit you’re a psychic medium, they often turn their backs. Many close friends have said, “Oh really?” And then rolled their eyes when I’ve told them what I do. For many years I hid this fact from others fearing their judgment or ridicule. Then, one day, I felt as though my conviction was strong enough to withstand the onslaught of questions and judgmental attitudes. I was no longer willing to turn my back on my truth. I came out of the closet.

People can be, do, experience, and rally for just about anything their heart desires. On the whole, the human race is becoming numb to acts of violence unless they hit home. One can change their appearance inside, and out, to reflect who they feel they truly are. Not to dismiss the fact that same-sex marriages are now legal in a few states. Wow, we’ve come a long way!
