Having been asked the questions numerous times, I have two theories on what the time span is between lives. One from my Spiritualist Theology and one gathered from years of working with spirit. Here they are respectively.
If spirit are considering reincarnation, most will do so approximately 40-60 years after their previous incarnation. Remember, there is no time on the other side, so 40-60 years in our time is but a blip on their radar. Spirit go through much while in-between lives. Here’s but a few…
- Past Life review
- They learn what their roles were while in the most recent incarnation.
- Where could they have benefitted others?
- They also use this time to help others on Earth
- Determines what future lessons they need to learn
Then, there’s my theory…
The earliest spirit has shown or mentioned to me that reincarnation occurs is as early as 8 years. In my opinion (because of the nature of their passing) this is much too soon. Here’s why…
- Have they learned why they passed, i.e. physical death, mental death, suicide?
- Have they taken the time to learn everything they need to regarding the cause of their death before reincarnating?
- What is their purpose for reincarnating this early? Are they trying to fix something from a past life?
- If they reincarnate this early do they really have the knowledge needed to successfully complete their goals, or are they just trying to jump back in to reach spiritual enlightenment sooner?
Given both of these situations, and from my own personal opinion, it would seem that the average time span between the death of the physical body and reincarnation would be between 20-60 years. This is not to say that less than 20 years wouldn’t be unheard of, nor would hundreds of years between incarnations. However, it all depends on their soul’s journey. What they were created by God to do. There is no right or wrong, it simple depends upon the souls intentions.
