I hung out with my niece, Bonnie, last night. She’s visiting from Alaska where she lives with her husband—which, honestly, still blows my mind.
Years ago, I did a reading for her and saw her living in a big city working in design. Man, did her path take a turn! As we all know, a reading shows you where you’re headed based on where you are today. Thankfully, things change, and we can end up in a completely different world.
When we do a reading, we see things from a current perspective, but the everyday dynamics of life can shift the outcome. It’s worth remembering that we have karmic lessons we chose before we were even born, but there are a million different ways to actually finish them. You might not even complete them in this lifetime, but you can rest easy knowing your life is exactly where it’s meant to be right now.

She’s just tackling her karmic lessons in a different way than what seemed obvious during her reading. Sure, she might move to a big city one day, but for now, she’s happy. And really, what more could you want for the people you love?
