Over the past few weeks I’ve heard the phrase “What Would Jesus Do?” Whispered in my ear, I know it’s spirit getting a message across to me. Sometimes it’s when I’m alone, but more often has been when with a client during a session.

I honestly don’t believe this has anything to do with Christianity, but the believe in one’s actions, which should emulate a higher power. I suppose it could also be expressed as, “Take the Higher Ground.” However it’s given, I have promised spirit long ago to deliver to the client, exactly what is received. Even while I may not be privy to the story behind the advice, the clients are always understanding of the advice from their spiritual helpers.

My clients understand being a better person, as Jesus would have them do. It means living with love, compassion, and humility at the heart of everything we do. It involves treating others with kindness and respect, regardless of their background or beliefs. It’s about serving others selflessly, offering help to those in need without expecting anything in return. Jesus taught us to seek peace, to be humble in our actions, and to lead with empathy and grace. By striving to embody these qualities, we not only grow closer to the teachings of Jesus but also create a more loving and compassionate world.

We all have that inner knowing, and yet we often forget who we are and the importance others play in our lives even if we don’t have an emotional tie to them. Please consider who you are, then accept others as you would yourself. Accepting the uniqueness of others means embracing the differences that make each person special. It’s about recognizing that everyone has their own experiences, perspectives, and qualities that shape who they are. Instead of trying to change or judge, we can celebrate these differences, understanding that diversity enriches our lives. When we accept others for who they truly are, we foster an environment of respect, kindness, and inclusion, where everyone feels valued for their individuality. After all, WWJD?
