Eeeeeek! Do you know how hard it is for me to post the picture of the cobra? The cobra comes to mind when I talk of preconceived ideas when it comes to paranormal or spiritual activity.
It would stand to reason that anything we find repugnant, frightening, or
even a trigger, that we would automatically associate that with something horrible about to happen or a warning from spirit. When I saw the cobra in my meditation many years ago that’s the exact reaction I had. I HATE snakes, so when this cobra slithered up to me in my meditative state it was very difficult not to let go of the meditation but I’m glad that I maintained my focus.
Once this cobra came within 2 feet of me it coiled itself with his head up high looking me straight in the eye. Being clairaudient I thought that maybe there would be an auditory message coming from the snake. Never once did I suspect what would happen next…
After waiting about 20 seconds, staring face to face, the cobra leapt right into my third eye! I immediately felt a heaviness at the center of my chest as if the weight of the cobra was physically there. The heavy feeling in my chest lasted three days, reminding me that I was being transformed!
We’ve all seen the caduceus, the medical symbol with a sword and serpent. What you may not know is that the serpent is also symbolic of kundalini energy. Kundalini energy is the ultimate life-force energy. It is the source of our creative power, spiritual gifts, and divine feminine energy. Kundalini pulls the energy that lies dormant at the base of our spine up to the crown of our heads, creating an upward flow of energy and balancing our chakras and energetic bodies. A few results of rising your kundalini energy are enhanced psychic abilities, more compassion and empathy, increased spiritual gifts, spiritual awakening, increased creativity, increased spiritual connection.
Even though I knew that the message of the cobra was about the awakening of my kundalini enery, there’s also a symbolic meaning. This is what I found…
The cobra symbolizes wisdom, changes, enchantment, hypnosis, protectiveness, danger, poison, determination, fear, strength, sexuality, sexual urges, courage, confidence, transformation, royalty, death. They are also a symbol of speed, defensiveness, and gracefulness.
Considering that spirit always directs us with love, the symbolism of wisdom, changes, protectiveness, strength, confidence, and transformation spoke volumes here.
I invite you to explore what you may have once preconceived as harmful or fearful. There are hundreds of websites that explore symbolism. You’ll find positives and negatives in ALL symbols. Please don’t jump to the conclusion that your messages from spirit are always negative because the opposite is true! Look at how your spirit guides communicate. They are constantly offering direction, or avenues for a positive outlook or outcome.
