When we’re young, we often try to be who we aren’t. Many of us, as adults, still wish that we had the life of another. We think that the lives of others have less stress, less anxiety or less heartache than our own – and we may be right!
Karmic lessons and family issues aside (because these are things you cannot change) – you can alter your own life. You can make your life into what it is you desire. You can live a life similar to another whom you admire. But, are you willing to do the same work they did to get where they are?

Having been raised without religion for most of my life, maybe I’m not the

In my early developmental stages I tried, many times, to justify my beliefs when the topic came up. I will not do so any longer. I don’t owe anyone an explanation for my words and/or actions, nor do I feel that I should have to justify my spiritual relationship with Jesus and God. I’ve recently discussed with a few people, their unhappiness with their current working situations. Seemingly unable, or unwilling, to make a work move they stay in a less than desirable situation. They realize that their work is making them unhappy, not only while at work, but is also in their home life. When one aspect of our lives is out of kilter, it affects its entirety. Imagine your life as if it were a ball – a perfect sphere. Your entire life forms the ball into its perfect shape. When one side of life is not working to your advantage, it’s as if the ball has a flattened side. Your ball wobbles to and fro, but when it encounters the flat side, it will stand still, unable to roll. The one flattened side affects the entire ball, halting the natural roll.
