Are you the adventurer who loves to travel and experience new things? I know I certainly am! I love meeting new people, getting to know them, learn what makes them tick, what brings them joy and stirs their passion. When I meet someone it may seem as if I’m interrogating them (I do it nicely), but I’m actually really interested in their lives, how they live, and what fulfills them.
You see, it’s not that my life is so boring, because it certainly is not, but I love learning how other people have survived their struggles, their tragedies, and overcame them. I love learning about someone’s job – really! It fascinates me to learn what someone actually does with their time, what goes through their minds, what it took to get them to the place they’re currently in, and most importantly – what they love.
If I were a great writer I suppose biographies would be my passion. I would travel all over the world (my passion) meeting interesting people; every-day people, people who work nine-to-five, the people who make the world tick, and the unsung hero’s. Yes, that’s what I would do if I had to live my life over again. However, right now I’m living MY life, the life I created, and it’s good, if I do say so myself. Like all of you, my life has had it’s ups and downs, but overall, it’s been a pretty positive experience, but I envision positive changes coming. I envision spiritual growth through future events and endeavors – and it looks good!
So, who are you? Reach deep inside and look at the REAL you. Who are you, what are your loves? What do you detest? What do you feel your calling is? How would you answer the life questions I’ve put forth to you?
Is your calling something you learned or studied or is it simply a sideline? Do you think you could take that interest to a higher level; one where you could actually use your skill or interest as a profession? Are you being of service, making the world a better place? Keep in mind that you don’t have to affect millions to have been a worthwhile contributor. How would your life change? Envision yourself in this other life. Do you like what you see?
