Over the past few weeks I’ve heard the phrase “What Would Jesus Do?” Whispered in my ear, I know it’s spirit getting a message across to me. Sometimes it’s when I’m alone, but more often has been when with a client during a session.
I honestly don’t believe this has anything to do with Christianity, but the believe in one’s actions, which should emulate a higher power. I suppose it could also be expressed as, “Take the Higher Ground.” However it’s given, I have promised spirit long ago to deliver to the client, exactly what is received. Even while I may not be privy to the story behind the advice, the clients are always understanding of the advice from their spiritual helpers.
We all have that inner knowing, and yet we often forget who we are and the importance others play in our lives even if we don’t have an emotional tie to them. Please consider who you are, then accept others as you would yourself. WWJD?

I spent the entire day, yesterday, canning tomatoes and tomato sauce with two very special people in my life. One was a veteran at canning and the other was just learning. While it was a laborious task, it was also quite emotionally fulfilling. Honestly, I think the greatest benefit that came from all the work, was the memories it will resurface whenever I take one of the jars from my pantry. I’ll remember the laughs we shared, the common goal to feed our families clean foods, and the mistakes we made along the way. All reasons to smile.
This leads me to the big question. Think… what did you do last weekend that will affect the future in a positive way? Even if you didn’t actually do anything exciting or accomplish anything grandiose, think about what you did that can positively affect the future. A small word of encouragement, a kind gesture to the unknown stranger who walks his dog down your street every day, or the cashier in the grocery store… What did you do? Have you made warm and fuzzy memories for yourself and others? Have you made a difference in the lives of others? Will you remember something years down the road that will bring a smile to your face or warm your heart? After all, isn’t that what life is supposed to be all about?

I’ve spent the past week in Lily Dale Assembly in New York participating in classes, getting my learning on, teaching a class and holding a book signing. Whew, I have to tell you, it’s been a whirlwind of activity with my two amazing sisters (It’s sister’s week!).
I think the best part of my educational sojourns are meeting wonderfully learned and very entertaining people. Even those who I’ve known for years have come through this week with extremely insightful information, proving that there’s always something to learn. Of course, while we can learn from anyone’s experience and knowledge, we must give credit to [Read more…]
Many people are afraid of spirit because they can’t see them. Yes, sometimes it’s a surprising experience when I turn around and practically walk into a spirit person. My reaction is pretty much the same as what it would be if there were a physical person present behind me. Surprise, shock, and then I often catch myself apologizing for walking into them. 🙂
I often remark that I’m more fearful of those in human form than in spirit, and this can’t be more truthful. In the more than 50 years I’ve been interacting with spirit there’s only been two times where I was unnerved. Once was when I [Read more…]
